These readings are limited to the parallel major and minor keys of F, C, G, D, A, and E. You will encounter triads in a variety of contexts and textures.

For each example:

1. Identify the key and determine your hand positions.
2. Scan for intervals, patterns, articulations, dynamics, and tempo.
3. Observe the slurs and identify the type of coordination required before you begin playing.
4. Establish a tempo and play without looking at your hands.
