For each example:

1. Analyze and practice the blocked chord progression using the correct inversion fingerings.
2. Locate any position shifts, thumb extensions, or crossovers in the melody.
3. Scan for intervals, patterns, articulations, dynamics, and tempo.
4. Sing or solfège the melody before playing.
5. Establish a tempo and play without looking at your hands.
