These reading drills utilize the three basic coordination motions - simultaneous, overlapping, and alternating.
For each example do the following:
- Identify the key and hand position.
- Scan the entire example for intervals, patterns, articulations, dynamics, and tempo
- Observe these slurs carefully and determine the type of coordination before playing
- Establish a tempo and play without looking at your hands.
